Happy New Year! I have a badly needed upgrade in the works for this site.
April 25, 2007
A ton of projects have kept me from updating this site for a while. I am working on a portfolio and store update to try and catch up. I had the good fortune to work with an amazing group called dosomething.org on an awards show called the BR!CK AWARDS. I designed the main logo and the actual statue. The showed aired on the CW network April 2007. Also this month, get ready for brutal logo and CD packaging for Texas' own Angerkill. As usual, some brand new shirt and poster designs for Lamb of God are in the mix.

A bunch of cool projects going on right now. I have a full-page illustration appearing in the January issue of Revolver magazine. More details and a look at the piece as soon as the issue hits the stands. I've also created a design for the B.U.D. toy by Jamungo. My B.U.D. will be part of a Diesel Fuel Prints limited series (250pcs). They will be available in my web store soon.

I have added a 'LiveChat' feature on my contact page. I monitor it whenever I am on the computer -- which, unfortunately, is a surprising majority of every day. Have a question about your project needs? Say Hello.

Great stuff coming this month! I am launching a website for a local 'gaming center' called Virtual Rush on Sep 15th -- check back for active link. I will also be doing a new Melvins tour poster for the Washington D.C. show on Oct. 19th. Brand new tshirt designs for Burn the Priest and Lamb of God are also surfacing, just in time for Gigantour 2006 with Megadeth.

Wow! Check out this great tattoo adaptation of my Killadelphia cover design "The Bloodthirsty Union". This is the outline and gray shading -- color is coming soon. This fantastic work was done by Jeff Travis at Nightingales Tattoo in Evansville, Indiana. The tattoo is on Ray Chappelle.

July has flown by! I took a little vacation this month, and slacked a bit on these announcements.
Sony officially released the Sacrament art while I was away. I also finished a handful of logos, designed 2 website looks, and created a full-color invitation. August looks like fun -- a new gig poster with Diesel Fuel Prints (band TBA), a skateboard art gallery show, and new lamb of god shirt designs are some of the highlights.

Killer! The guys at Sage Guitars have created a custom bass for John Campbell (Lamb of God) featuring one of the doves from my Ashes of the Wake cover design. I really love the look of the bass. Check out photos here!

Issues with my server caused me to lose half of my 'project blog' entries, and broke my contact form. I am working on restoring the project blog from backups, and I am implementing a new .php quote request form on the old contact page. Brand new art coming right behind, i've got LOTS of new stuff to share this month!
May 10, 2006
Work continues on Lamb of God's forthcoming album "Sacrament". A complete identity for Urban Tree Management and logos for Sin Vida and Bad Luck 13 Riot Extravaganza should round out this month. I am also creating a website for Virtual Rush Gaming Centers.

Just a quick update, I am in full development of the forthcoming Lamb of God album -- this one is going to be epic Also, I've been trying to keep the site up-to-date by keeping my 'project blog' current (see button above). I can't put everything, but it's a good sampling of the day-to-day at K3n.com.
March 29, 2006
I have been selected to create a poster -- as part of a series -- for the current High on Fire tour. My piece will be for the 4/20 show! (at the Loft in York, PA). The screenprinting will be done by the legendary Diesel Fuel Prints.

Creating logos for MyEVGuide.com, Bassnutz.com and a mascot for a plastics company. Two t-shirt designs and a Mini-CD layout for Memphis, TN band "Dead City" are also on the block. The new glow-in-the-dark K3n.com shirts are going fast -- thank you to everyone that has ordered one already!

The Dew Circuit Showcase was a smash! Watch the show on MTV2, Saturday March 25 at 8:00 p.m.! I designed the background posters, backdrops, t-shirts and collateral graphics, and -- with the help of partner in crime Brian Feeley -- the motion intro, transitions, and bumpers for the show itself. The show was edited, assembled, and produced by the fine folks at FreedomZone, and features Thursday, Halifax, Jack's Mannequin and more!

With Flatstock and SXSW two weeks out, this is one of the busiest times of year. I am working on an art print that will be part of a live screenprinting demonstration at Flatstock 8. Also, apparel designs for Kulture, Sin Vida Clothing, and Pintruck Tattoos. I am also making a push to complete work on the MN Skateboarder sign project. Follow progress here
February 17, 2006
I've finished tweaking the artwork for Lamb of God's New American Gospel rerelease. SXSW06 is approaching quickly, I am finishing up promotional materials for the Dew Circuit Showcase featuring Thursday, Jack's Mannequin, Hellogoodbye, Halifax, and After the Tragedy.

It's been a while since the last update. I have added the "Project Blog" to this news page. Theoretically, this will make it a lot easier for me to keep you up-to-date on the projects going on here at K3n.com.
October 19, 2005
Lots of new stuff going on this month. I'm developing a site for Pinstruck Tattoos, a brand new identity for old pals MacGurus, print and packaging for the 2005 Dew Circuit Breakout, and building a sign for MN Skateboarder.

The big news right now is this brand spankin' new website you are viewing. I've got a new server, a new site, a new physical address and a new email. Take a look around you'll see new pieces and some old favorites.

Frank Kozik's sourcebook "Panda Meat" is now available for purchase from Amazon among others. My piece, Baby Corn, is featured on page 3.
Description from Amazon:
"A cutting-edge collection of 110 contemporary underground and mainstream artists, illustrators, and graphic designers from a networked community of self-made artisans. Each uses different media, but the common thread is that all work independently to manufacture their own products. This showcase also includes contact information for each artist in the back of the book."

Lamb of God's new DVD, "Killadelphia" has gone GOLD. I designed the packaging as well as the inside menus (along with High Roller Studios). My painting of "the Bloodthirsty Union" is featured on the DVD cover, as well as a 50' x 30' backdrop for l.o.g.'s live shows.
